Responded to this fire as the Box Truck. Initial general alarm companies reported on the scene with smoke showing. Crews tried numerous attempts to gain entry and make an offensive attack. The entire house was packed with junk, which made it impossible to enter more than a few feet. The basement was completely filled with boxes and papers. Box Alarm called and companies went in defensive mode. Cellar nozzle used in front entrance way. Elmhurst command brought in a backhoe to completely open up the house. In all, 6 handlines and a cellar nozzle used.
